Yesterday I hired by Anna and Sal in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to photograph their gorgeous rottweiler, Blu.

Blu is 5 years old, she’s not only gorgeous but also a real sweetheart of a dog. It was about as easy as it gets working with her, and she is actually incredibly photogenic. it was hard to choose which 2 pictures to post here…

If I had to name one breed that I have photographed the most, it would probably be the Westies.

Westies are always cute, but Wesley was dog-food-commercial cute… full of character and energy. The session was a blast.

This morning Newsday (Long Island) featured my pet photography in a small piece title “Pamper Your Pooch”…
I believe this piece was running because of the 2009 Westminster dog show which is taking place here in NYC today and tomorrow.

If you happen to have a copy, the piece is on page B3 of Explore Long Island. It even features one of my pet portraits in there.

Pet photography sessions are currently $300 and include 4 5×7 prints.
