New York Photographer (.com), is the new blog for Photography By Roy

My name is Roy Somech, and I am a professional photographer serving clients in the New York metro area.
I work with clients in NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey.


The majority of my work is Portraits, specifically, Newborns & Babies, Maternity, Couples/Engagements, Family Portraits, and Children. I also do plenty of Pet Photography as well as Commercial work (anything from Headshots, to Bands and Product Photography).

What you can expect when hiring me

Aside from what should be obvious (things like high quality work and creativity in your session) I also like to think that my super laid back and friendly personality play a big part in why clients have me come back to their homes again and again.

November 9, 2009 - 9:34 am Alise - Tim and I traveled to New York City for our engagement photos from Florida. I started looking for a photographer online, and found Roy!! His work is amazing to say the least, and everything I read from past customers convinced me that I was making the right choice. Roy has an incredible reputation and has built relationships with past clients. My fiance and I had an amazing time with Roy and were given every bit of his attention for our time together. I am sure that one day we will have children and there is no doubt in my mind that we will bring them to Central Park for Roy to photograph them!
