New York Photographer (.com), is the new blog for Photography By Roy

My name is Roy Somech, and I am a professional photographer serving clients in the New York metro area.
I work with clients in NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey.


The majority of my work is Portraits, specifically, Newborns & Babies, Maternity, Couples/Engagements, Family Portraits, and Children. I also do plenty of Pet Photography as well as Commercial work (anything from Headshots, to Bands and Product Photography).

What you can expect when hiring me

Aside from what should be obvious (things like high quality work and creativity in your session) I also like to think that my super laid back and friendly personality play a big part in why clients have me come back to their homes again and again.

May 11, 2007 - 3:53 pm maddy - I just want to let everyone know what a great photographer Roy is. He has the best of equipment, the best of studio, the best of gallery, and one the the very best of talent. - A real pro, here.

Not only that, he's mild-mannered and so accommodating, unlike other aggressive photographers. We can sense from the very beginning of the shoot that he really cares. He made things very easy for us even if we had a most limited time to get our photographs in.

Get him on your next child's photography needs. Can't say enough for his talent and creativeness. You'll be so impressed you'll get so much more value and quality than you expect.
